The Coal Exchange Cardiff. Saturday 14th August 2010 at 6.00pm has been unfortunately cancelled due to the lack of advance ticket sales and the real possibility that the event might make a loss. Those who bought tickets in advance will receive a full refund

Hiroshima and Nagasaki 1945 – 2010 Across Wales – Nuclear Bomb Victims Remembered
This week, people in Wales will join with others all over the world in remembering the 65th anniversary of the August 6th 1945 devastation of Hiroshima and of Nagasaki on August 9th 1945 when US atomic bombs were deliberately dropped on the people and their homes in those two Japanese cities.

Aberporth – People in Wales say ‘No’ to Perfecting War
Cymdeithas y Cymod (Wales Fellowship of Reconciliation) made a pilgrimage to Aberporth, Ceredigion in June. Parc Aberporth was built with over £13 million of taxpayers’ money and is where unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or drones) and their spying and tracking equipment are being perfected for use by arms companies, on behalf of the British army. Wales Peace Institute – Presentation to National Assembly Petitions Committee

Aldermaston AWE Blockade February 15th 2010
On February 15th about 30 Welsh protestors including CND Cymru Chair Jill Evans MEP joined the hundreds blockading the nuclear weapons factory at Aldermaston, England. We had been allocated the Aldermaston AWE Construction Gate along with ‘bomspotting’ and other internationals.
